About the Longmeadow Newcomers' Club…

Celebrating more than 50 years of forging friendships, the Longmeadow Newcomers' Club is an organization of women who have recently moved to Longmeadow.  The Club provides numerous opportunities for new residents to get to know one another and feel at home in their new town.

Founded in 1963, the Club offers monthly Newcomers' Nights plus a variety of activities based on diverse interests including Bunco, Cookbook Club, Book Club, Movie Nights, Game Nights, Family Events and Couples' Events.   The club also serves the community, providing a monthly meal to a local soup kitchen and collecting items and raising funds for needs in our community.

We believe that making friends through the Longmeadow Newcomers Club is an excellent way to turn a new address into a home!

Each September, we host a New Members' Open House to introduce the club to women who have recently moved to town.  

Join Now

  1. Go to Longmeadow Newcomers Club and click 'Join Group' to submit a request to join our GroupSpaces group (where we keep our online calendar and updates). You will be asked to provide some basic information and some other non-required information and then once again, click the "Join Group" button at the bottom of the page.

  2. Pay the annual $40 dues to 'Longmeadow Newcomers' Club' via paypal, in person, or by mail.
    See address information below. 
    If paying via Paypal, the membership dues are $41.50 to cover the Paypal fees.   If you are joining the Club in December/January/February, please ask about a prorated membership fee.     

  3. Once payment and membership application are received, you will be set up with a Group Spaces account and an invite to the Facebook group (if requested), which is where the events are posted. If you have any questions, please use the contact information below
