1656 Longmeadow Street (#74 The Noah Bliss House -1785)

Noah Bliss built this house in 1785. It was extensively remodeled during 1919-1921, when it served as a boarding house for the elderly called "The Maples". The census of 1790 does not record a house on this property suggesting that it was moved here from somewhere else, not at all uncommon in early Longmeadow.
